Friday, on the afternoon of the 14th October, our school community finally enjoyed an opportunity to celebrate our wonderful Arts Curriculum in our Biannual event Celebremos.
Our students from Prep to Year Six learn Spanish as a second language. For the fist time in some years, we were able to come together as a whole school community and see our students artwork, listen to our strings ensembles, hear our choirs and classes, and see our students dance.
With the Spanish themed food trucks, and students savouring the opportunity to get dressed and play their part, our school really partied and enjoyed the opportunity, for many their first time, singing, dancing and performing. Not only were they all incredible talented, they enjoyed the opportunity to get out there and get performing!
A great thank you to our Arts and Spanish teachers for their tireless work behind the scenes ensuring our students came first and formost and enjoyed their evening.
It truly was another very special night at Greenslopes State School!
