Step 1: Residing in our catchment area
Education Queensland’s online tool will assist you to determine your catchment school.
Once you have determined that you reside in the Greenslopes State School catchment area, please ensure you have proof of residency documents available:
* One primary source - a current lease agreement, rates notice or unconditional sale agreement, and
* One secondary source - a current utility bill (eg electricity or gas), showing this same address and parent's/legal guardian's name
Step 2: Application
Contact our enrolment officer to arrange an enrolment package and book an interview.
The application package consists of:
- Application for student enrolment
- Enrolment agreement
- General permissions
- ICT agreement
- State School consent form
- Religious instruction in school hours form (Year 1 to 6)
Step 3: Enrolment interview
You will be required to attend an enrolment interview with the principal. Our Enrolment Officer will assist you to make an appointment at a convenient time. Prior to the interview we will need to see the following documents:
Completed application for student enrolment form
Completed permission forms
Original, current proof of residency documents
The child’s original birth certificate
The child’s latest report card if they have attended another school
Australian Citizenship (if applicable)
If the child is born overseas, we will also need to see the child’s current passport, visa documents and, if applicable, confirmation of enrolmentan authority to enrol from Education Queensland International (see information below for international students)

International students
International students are welcomed at Greenslopes State School. Depending on your country of origin and your visa subclass, you may be required to first enrol with Education Queensland International (EQI).
Please contact EQI directly to ascertain if you need to obtain a confirmation of enrolment (CoE) prior to enquiring about enrolment at our school.
