Our Prep students got to see some of their much smaller classmates with the help from our friends at the Moreton Bay Environmental Education Centre.
Our students had the opportunity to look for their tiny bug friends, and learned how to catch them safely, without harming them, and try to work out what kind of bug it was that they had caught.
They got to use nets, magnifying glasses, and other scientific instruments to catch, observe, describe and then release our tiny bug friends.
A big thanks to the team at Moreton Bay Environmental Education Centre for helping our students develop their curiosity as budding young scientists.
