Friday the 4th November saw our students dress as bees or in free dress all for a good cause.
Our Year Five and Six students, as part of their work in Technology, are busy designing and creating a bee sanctuary for our native bees.
They are designing suitable accommodation and had to research the different types of native plants they need in order to survive and thrive.
To help raise the funds to see their project through to completion the rest of the school joined in. With a gold coin donation, our students chose to dress as a bee or come to school in free dress.
We look forward to seeing our new bee sanctuary come alive in the weeks before the end of school, as do our Year Five and Six students as well as our native bee friends!
