Walk Safely to School Day


​The Greenslopes State School community stepped, scootered or rode to school during National Walk Safely to School Week.

All students wore a tinge of fluro to make sure everyone saw them on their way to school.

National Walk Safely to School Week, aims to education motorists that before and after school our roads are crammed with students on their either to school or home from school.

Ous school is an active participant in Brisbane City Coucil's Active School Travel program.  Councillor Ian MacKenzie, local Coorparoo representative on Council, joined us on our walk.

A reminder to all students that Wednesday is Walking, Wheeling Wednesday at Greenslopes State School, and have your passports ready.
